When I met this couple and their children, they had been traveling the world and thinking about their dream home for years, and they were bursting with ideas. They approached the design of each room with energy and excitement, boundless inspiration and meticulous attention to detail. Indeed, a critical part of my role was to ensure that the richness of ideas was tempered with continuity and clarity.
A faint thread of architectural classicism is the glue that holds this rural Maryland residence together. It is a home that has been shaped by a deep appreciation of life’s offerings and a passion to share them.
